It is with great pride that I introduce to you the Miami Shores Police Department. As the Chief of Police, I am honored to lead a dedicated team of law enforcement professionals committed to safeguarding the well-being and security of the beautiful Village of Miami Shores, Florida.Our department boasts a diverse and inclusive workforce, comprising 42 full-time sworn officers and 10 full-time civilian members. We deeply value the unique perspectives and backgrounds that our team members bring, as it enhances our ability to serve you effectively and respectfully. The Command Staff is composed of leaders with a wide range of expertise, all dedicated to fulfilling the department's mission.
At the Miami Shores Police Department, we believe that community partnerships are the bedrock of successful law enforcement. We are devoted to building strong relationships with our residents, local businesses, and visitors. In addition to our core road patrol operations, our agency is equipped with specialized units designed to address the evolving needs of our community. Our detectives work diligently to investigate and solve crimes, while our community policing strategy engages us in proactive initiatives to enhance neighborhood safety. Our traffic officers are dedicated to enforcing traffic laws and promoting road safety, while our dispatch center stands ready to provide swift and efficient emergency assistance when needed.
