Doctors Charter School Board
The School is governed by a thirteen member Board of Trustees made of members appointed by the various entities involved in the school’s conception. Seven directors are appointed by the Village Council, with two directors each from Barry University and the North Dade Medical Foundation. The remaining seats are filled by one parent each, respectively from the middle school and high school student population. The Board considers the education needs and the youth of the school and makes recommendations as to how those needs can be met.
