Sustainability & Resiliency Committee

The Sustainability and Resiliency Committee (SRC) was created pursuant Ordinance No. 2020-01 adopted on January 21, 2020. The purpose of the SRC is to provide technical assistance and advice to the Miami Shores Village Council as to mitigation and adaptation measures to respond to global warming climate change.
During the January 2023 SRC meeting, the Committee establish its mission statement as a guiding element to fulfill their purpose:

“The Sustainability and Resiliency Committee of Miami Shores Village strives to develop a culture of sustainability, resiliency and environmental responsibility in Miami Shores Village through a partnership with all residents, government and businesses utilizing innovation, education, communication, and comprehensive and strategic planning.”

The SRC meets regularly at the Village Council Chamber located at 10050 NE 2 Ave, Miami Shores, Fl 33138.
