Get A Library Card

Miami Shores Residents

Get a Brockway Library card free of charge with a current Florida Driver's License that includes the applicant's name and a Miami Shores address. Proof of residence may also be shown using a current photo ID and a piece of official mail, such as a lease agreement or credit card statement with the applicant's name and address on it.

If the applicant is 17 years of age or younger, a parent or guardian must apply for the card.


Non-Residents

Adult & Family Card: $75.00 per year

Seniors 50+ $50.00/year

Children, age 17 and under: $25.00 per year. A parent or guardian must be present to apply.


Barry University Faculty

No Fee


Florida Retired Educators

Retired educators who are members of the Florida Retired Educator’s Association (FREA) and who taught in Miami Shores schools are eligible for a free membership, renewable annually, with proof of a current FREA membership.



Applicants must show proof of current address.
