The Police Department serves the Village community, which includes a population of over 11,000 residents plus the population of Barry University that lies within our jurisdictional boundaries. The Department provides a wide variety of public safety services to our residents, businesses, schools, religious institutions, and visitors through a team of sworn officers, telecommunicators, and civilian personnel.
