No, the resident is responsible for the maintenance of the swale area adjacent to their property.
No, the Village does not provide this service. The Village will only restore areas that have been damaged due to Village activities, such as roadway resurfacing and sidewalk repair. Utility companies who perform work in the swale areas will also be responsible for restoration.
